FS#985 User ID Security Conflict
Hi, I am using doku wiki on a unix-type server. I am facing a peculiar problem related to userid(s). For some reason, doku wiki is accessing the server under the userid 80 while I am accessing it through ftp as userid 1273 (or something).
As a result I cannot edit files or upload heavy media through ftp or even delete stuff with my client app. Simultaneusly, the wiki cannot edit files uploaded through ftp.
I cannot bug the host admin once and a while for chowning my files and it seems like they won't drop their security policies for user identification.
Is it possible to set through the administrative interface the prefered userid for the wiki?
Alternatively, it may be useful to implement a simple file system wrapper in the admin pages. The type of operations needed to be accessible though wiki are simple: rename pages/folders and upload and extract compressed media (instead of uploading one by one)...
Any help is much appreciated.
