FS#914 actionlink "back" kills $ID
Backend
2006-09-20ypnos
Using tpl_actionlink('back') I found that further links like 'backlink' didn't work properly. In inc/template.php:
if ($ID = tpl_getparent($ID))
This kills the old but in some templates still needed $ID value.
Can you confirm that on the RC1 version too? (available from dokuwiki website -> download)

Sadly enough, I don't have spare time left to upgrade dokuwiki these days. :(
Looking at the provided patch, you can find out very easily if this is still a problem.
It is, if in your version the string "$ID = tpl_getparent($ID)" is still to be found in inc/template.php
So please have a look at it yourself, thanks :)

Default template doesn't make use of tpl_actionlink('back'). Can you provide your template or tell us which template you are using?

This is a selfwritten template. I can provide it (please add a comment, if you want me to), and you can have a look at it here:

Can you paste here the lines of you template calling tpl_actionlink('back') so that we try it in the default template? Thanks

Sorry for the delay! Here is the interesting part of the template in question:
Btw., as I found out that back most times fails (ie, doesn't show up), it is disabled on the site I posted. Sorry if that gave any confusion. Above is the template code as it was before I made that decision.
Thanks for looking into this. I just ask myself, if it is a bug itself, that "back" almost never shows up?
