I specifically prohibit the default script from running (it must run through the redirect). As a result I keep having to change <?= script() ?> to <?= wl($ID,'') ?>. Here is the patch I use. I'd be great integrated into the main distribution.

I don't think we can support local hacks or customization in DokuWiki's core.

I am saying that you make the wrong assumptions of where this data should be posted. The patch corrects that assumption. If you use the mod_rewrite the form posts to dokuwiki.php instead of, say, /wiki.

I think to remember that we had some problems which caused the introduction of script(). This might make sense but is nothing I'd like to introduce in the current RC/next release. We should come back to it when the new release is out.

In the current revision, the post action are "/<path-to-your-wiki>/page" or "/<path-to-your-wiki>/ns/start". This very old request does no longer apply.
