FS#828 Dots getting encoded in group names for ACL matching
ACL & Authentication
2006-06-08BlackFog
The function auth_aclcheck() uses auth_nameencode() (auth.php) which encodes dots in group names too, so no matching with ACL's (acl.auth.php) is possible (=> $matches).
e.g.
Group "other.group" will be encoded to "other%2egroup".
Found in conjunction with OpenLDAP/AD authentication, Windows 2000, IIS5, codebase from 06/06/06.

This is not a bug but intended behavior. All specialchars are encoded internally and need to be encoded in the acl.auth.php, too. When using the ACL manager it will do so for you.
