FS#750 Add a "button" link feature
Syntax
2006-03-16tward
It would be nice to have a button link. We have:
- text links "cnn" and
- image links "
but we don't have "text button" links.
Dokuwiki already uses the html forms button feature for system buttons (such as "edit this page" and "index"). Why couldn't this be extended to users.
Perhaps a syntax such as "((button-text))" might work.

Buttons are no links! And should not be misused as such. (Although DokuWiki already kind of does that.)
I presume you only want links to *look* like buttons!? Change the according CSS then ...
If you really want to have the possibility to have those "button links", I suggest it should only be implemented as a plugin and not go into the core code.
