I'd like to be able to prevent SVG files from beeing displayed. Most browsers don't support them yet natively and so it's annoying when dokuwiki tries to display it, because it's an image/* mimetype.
The entry for svg is:
svg image/svg+xml
Thank you!

It's your webserver which must be told not to send SVG files.

Reopened, because Elias is right. DokuWiki recognizes it as image and tries to display it.

The only work around is to change the mimetype from image/svg+xml to application/svg+xml or application/octet-stream in conf/mime.conf

Do we consider that changing the mimetype in conf/mime.conf fixes this issue, so we can close it?

in recent versions the following should work as well:
svg !image/svg+xml

can be changed by modifying config
