It would be a major improvement to have section-based page locking in Dokuwiki. This means, when a user only clicks the edit button on a specific section of a page, Dokuwiki should only lock this section.
Currently, the whole page is locked, which makes Dokuwiki a little harder to use for collaboration on projects.
(However, Dokuwiki is still a great piece of software that I already use for the fourth class project at University now) -

I am sorry to tell you, that this is nearly impossible as docuwiki uses files to store data. I recommend you to try to avoid large pages and split them up into small pices whenever possible.
