FS#666 Interrupted ordered list re-start at 1
Syntax
2005-12-09shuttie27
If I have an ordered list such as
- item1
- item2
- item3
and I want to interrupt it with a paragraph that is not numbered, i.e.:
- item1
unnumbered paragraph
- item2
- item3
the item2 line restarts at 1. Same thing happens if I add a note of any type. I need something that will allow me to interrupt the list and have it remember what number it was at.

Will this ever be implemented? It may seem trivial, but it would be a very nice feature if done properly.
This situation arises a lot when writing guides with screenshots. The only solution I know of right now is to allow raw html to be inserted, such as:
- Do step 1
- Do step 2 <html><br></html> {{picture1.jpg}}
- Do step 3
The downside is that you have to actually enable html insertion. If a person doesn't want to (or can't) allow raw html to be inserted, the best they can do is add the picture as a step with extra indentation, but it hardly looks elegant when rendered.
- Do step 1
- Do step 2
- {{picture1.jpg}}
- Do step 3

Not a bug. You have to use linebreaks -> \\ to make the list numbering continue.
