My apache listen on https. I can browse my wiki happily from the net, even syndicate to the rss.
Rss, in such, work: it calls my wiki, that returns changed things.
What is wrong is the url that rss items point to:
When my wiki is at my home and I rss from the net (in https), url in the feed is something like
http://www/wiki/doku.php?id=howto:courier-imap&do=diff&1130066654
You can see 1) It is in http (not s) and 2) url is not at my site (my site is
https://korsani.dyndns.org/wiki/)
I guess that the www is 1) the name of my server as returned by my dns (what I doubt because this server has much more names than www) 2) a part of absolute path where my wiki is (/var/www/wiki)
I installed exactly the same apache server, same conf, same wiki on an other computer (linux also)
Quite same result:
I rss from the same computer the web server is:
https://127.0.0.1/wiki/
I syndicate to the rss, this time url is something like:
http://127.0.0.1/wiki/doku.php?id=howto:courier-imap&do=diff&1130066654
You can see that this time www is replaced by 127.0.0.1 (and it's also still in http). That tend to prove that the www before is the dns name of my server... But www is nor the first alias of this computer, neither configured anywhere in dokuwiki.
I tried to watch the code to see why it returns at least the wrong server name, but no luck (actually maybe I'm not good at php enough)
I give up search why it returns http instead of https
