I'm not quite sure if this is a DokuWiki bug or a problem of my own environment, but here goes:
OS: Windows 2003 Server SP1
Server: Apache/2.0.52 (Win32) mod_perl/1.99_15-dev Perl/v5.8.4 mod_ssl/2.0.52 OpenSSL/0.9.7d PHP/5.0.4
mbstring overloading is disabled, php safe mode is on, other settings are kinda default, though
php is using big_int extension and eaccelerator extension to cache precompiled php scripts and optimize them.
After using DokuWiki for some time, the webserver becomes unresponsive and unfreezes after some
time (i guess after some timeout). Here's what I found in the main Apache error.log:
[4076] EACCELERATOR: PHP crashed on opline 30 of preg_replace() at D:\\path_to_wiki\\inc\\utf8.php:308
I'd appreciate if you had a look at the problematic function in utf8.php and gave some idea
where the problem is (eaccelerator? webserver? windows? =)
I'm runing DokuWiki for a week now (still customizing it) and this odd behaviour has to
somehow go away...
Thank you for your time!
