FS#472 namespace start-page
Syntax
2005-07-19tekl
I have some namespaces like scripts:javascript with articles (scripts:javascript:ARTICLENAME). To let users not think about namespaces I created a table-of-content-article scripts:javascript:index so they can add articles into the current namespace on the index-article with [[ARTICLENAME]]. Some users wonder about if entering scripts:javascript in the URL they don't get the index-article of the javascript-namespace but seeing an empty page named javascript of the scripts-namespace. What about an option to let DokuWiki search for a start-page (with the name $conf['start']) in a sub-namespace if a nonexistend page is requested which name is equal to a sub-namespace.
I hope you understand my bad english. Maybe this helps:
Request: skripts:illustrator
Page does not exist, but a namespace skripts:illustrator exist
so look for skripts:illustrator:$conf['start'] and if it exist go to the page
if it not exist show the standard nonexist-page
2006-01-27gb
Attached patch allows the page specified in $conf['start'] to be the default page not only for the root namespace but for any namespace.
