hi there!
running on IIS dokuwiki works just fine as long as you don't use it with IE.
IE can't even load the start-page - just reports: http500 - internal server error.
my doku-wiki is running on an IIS in a directory with IP- and PW-protection.
any ideas about that?
thanks a lot, lauschender

Do you get any useful errors in the Webserver's logs? Do you get any output when calling doku.php?do=debug from IE? If yes please attach the output here. If not please attach the output generated from another working browser. Which PHP version and IIS version do you run?

We had the same problem. In the wiki-folder on the server, you'll find something like .httpaccess. (attached by IIS, I think) Just rename this file in .httpaccess_orig, you'll be able to run dokuwiki. But the next problem will appear. You shouldn't be able to cache your notes. The following is displayed on the top of the page:
Writing d:\\ftp\\intranet.maglist_de\\web\\wiki\\data\\cache/5/59cc4e7a3de04e9f46ed67546729e179.i failed
Writing d:\\ftp\\intranet.maglist_de\\web\\wiki\\data\\cache/5/59cc4e7a3de04e9f46ed67546729e179.xhtml failed
Notice that backslash is used somewhere unexpected.
Any idea why??

The same problem.
IIS
PHP running as ISAPI
The server error is often followed by an internal error at address xxxxx (xxxx changes at any IIS restart).
No errors logged by php.
