Thinking about
FS#2797, it occurred to me that an HTML5 app would be a lot easier to implement than a native app - OTOH the big drawback is that it's really hard to implement an effective UI across mobile and desktop (most responsive design websites look to me like they were designed by playmobil).
Being able to present different UIs also opens up the door to other types of customization in the template furniture.
Some thought needed about what determines the selected template - a sub-domain? A user preference?
The former looks like an attractive option for mobile/desktop where the 2 environments benefit from a very different network stack config too.
