When init_paths() in inc/init.php fails to find a directory the current error message does not tell where it was looking for the directory. A more explicit message
would be useful especially in debugging a farm setup. Suggested patch:
foreach($paths as $c => $p){
$path = $conf[$c];
if(empty($path)) $path = $conf['savedir'].'/'.$p;
$conf[$c] = init_path($path);
if(empty($conf[$c])) nice_die("The $c ('$p') is not found at $path,
isn't accessible or writable.
You should check your config and permission settings.
Or maybe you want to <a href=\"install.php\">run the
installer</a>?");
}
By the way, a few lines further: existance -> existence.
