When you upload a document (any non-image file) through the media manager, there's no way to download that document again from within the media manager. It's not a problem for images because they can be downloaded by clicking the thumbnail in the right pane.

Until we have a better solution, I added a link in the media details view in our local DokuWiki installation.

I also think a download possibility is a must-have and linking the filename seems quite reasonable to me. I just added a title tag to your suggestion and and it seems that the line numbers have changed over time.
