FS#2181 Save page in KDE 4.4.5 Konqueror KHTML engine work improperly with nice URL.
CSS, XHTML, JS, Browsers
Using Dokuwiki "Anteater" with Nice URL is on (either .htaccess or internal)
and Konqueror 4.4.5 with KHTML engine as a browser.
When pressing "Save" button while editing existing page I get a message:
"A newer version exists", and show difference with version which have current time and there's no difference at all. History shows that page is already saved (even if I press "Cancel" or just jump out from that request page).
It seems that Konqueror sends two page save requests (apache log says so); first of them is hidden (AJAX?), but second is resulting in displayed "A newer..." message.
But all is fine if:
- WebKit engine in konqueror is used;
- nice URL is off;
- page is newly created or deleted.
Theme and plugins do not matter.
Has recent version(s) of Konqueror still these issues?
Can this be a browser bug as well?
No feedback given. 3 years is old for a browser engine...
