I was viewing the source of a page for which I didn't have edit permissions. After a period of time I received the "the lock is about to expire message".

Checking data/locks and there seems to be a current lock. Its the only page I'm viewing and the lock file contains my IP address.

I can not reproduce this anymore. There's no lock created and no message displayed, so I assume this was fixed meanwhile.
