FS#186 PNG not displayed in IE if fefined in smiley.cond
CSS, XHTML, JS, Browsers
2005-03-06
If I define a png picture in smiley.conf and refer to it in a wiki page, the picture is first displayed on the web page but removed on what seems a second pass.
The problem appears with IE 6.0 SP1.
Works perfectly on Firefox.

I am confronted to the same problem. Any idea ???

This is a problem with the used pngbehavior.htc -- it needs a size for every image. Currently the size is not read and added for smiley images. If you remove the behaviour it will work but then IE is not able to handle PNG transparency anymore. Best method is simply to use a real browser or to convert the smiley to GIF.

I removed pngbehavior.htc from the devel version. This breaks alpha transparency in PNGs for IE again, but its better than having some images not shown at all.
