Hi,
in Forum (http://forum.dokuwiki.org/post/11568) there was a tpoic about a new feature, which allows to open a linked pdf on a given page. I've testet this, but it doesn't work.
I tryed to
- link an internal file (previously uploaded with media manger)
- link a file in my subversion while using interwiki link
- link an external pfd file.
All file are opend when clicking the link, but allways on page 1
Like in Forum said, I link files with <path/name>.pdf#page=3

I've done some more testing. It seems to be a problem with Firefox. In IE PDF file are opened with IE and shown on right page - equals if link target is internal or external. But with Firefox, PDF files are opened with external PDF viewer (Adobe Reader) on page 1.

After some more testing with assistance from an other DokuWiki user I found the error.
It's a configuration in Firefox. ou can set how to handle PDF (and other) files. I changed it from "open in Browser" to "ask what to do".
When PDF file is opened in an external viewer the "#page=x" information gets lost.
If file is opened in browser it works fine.
