FS#1636 Error trying to display Old Revisions page
ACL & Authentication
We've got a wide-open wiki, with no authentication. Clicking on an ''Old revisions'' button gives the following error message:
Fatal error: Call to a member function getUserData() on a non-object in /var/www/wiki.REDACTED.org/dokuwiki-2009-02-14/inc/common.php on line 1379
I was able to fix the error by changing line 1379 from:
$info = $auth->getUserData($username);
$info = $auth && $auth->getUserData($username);
It looks like ''$auth'' is getting ''unset()'' in line 43 of ''auth.php'', because ''auth_plain()'' sets the ''$success'' member to ''false'', because we have no ''users.auth.php'' file.
I believe I saw the same error on a different page as well, but was unable to investigate that one. But it'd probably be a good idea to check for other unchecked uses of ''$auth''.
Doh. I was expecting DokuWiki syntax, since I know FlySpray can support it. :(
