I am using hte XML-RPC interface. I have noticed that when I submit plugin related contentthat the 'rendered' page is not correct, plugins do not appear to be being parsed/content displayed. An example will show this most clearly:
Dokuwiki Page raw content:
===== Heading=====
{{tag>myTag}}
* My text
{{DISCUSSION}}
But when the page is viewed neither the DISCUSSION or TAG plugins are 'displayed' but the headings etc. are displayed correctly. To fix the issue you simply have to edit the page (e.g. change 'My text' to 'My text 2' and save, i.e. force the page to be saved and re-parsed ... note no changes to the DISCUSSION or TAG lines. Now when the page is viewed the DISCUSSION and TAG plugins are 'displayed'.
Tested in LINUX and WINDOWS

At the moment I'm not 100% sure, but I think this is already fixed in the development version. Unfortunately I have no way to test this right now (posting this comment for reference).

This has been somehow "fixed" in the last release of DokuWiki by removing the conditions on which these plugins relied in the normal saving process so in other words the plugins have now been changed to no rely on being called when the page is saved from the webinterface so this bug should no longer exist. Could you please confirm that this works now with the latest (git) versions of these plugins?

Should be fixed. If I edit the page-tags (plugin:tags) or add ~~DISCUSSION~~ to a page via DokuVimKi everything is displayed fine.

This has been fixed in the current version of the tag and discussion plugin.
