FS#1287 Speed Issues with Admin group
ACL & Authentication
2007-11-15buzzsaw
Hi All
I have installed DokuWiki onto an Apple Xserve running OS Tiger Server 10.4.10
For the majority this works fine with the exception that when I log in as myself as a member of the @admin group the browser slows to a crawl.
All others users have no speed issues regardless of what they are doing (reading or editing), pages and edits load into the browser in seconds but when I (or anyone else who I make a member of the @admin group) logs in, the browser takes minutes to load pages, this is not just logging but also when viewing or editing pages
Any suggestions please

Could you give some additional info about your installed plugins and used auth backend?
Auth backend is "plain" and password encryption smd5
Hope this helps

I downloaded a clean version this week with no plugins and am experiencing a similar problem. It's not minutes, but it's 15-20 seconds for each page load for the admin, regular users do not experience this.
Server: Solaris 10, no plugins, whatever auth backend is enabled by default.

I would check the usual delay origins: DNS and IPv6. Are both properly configured and running?

Doesn't make sense to me to keep this issue opened.
