FS#1199 The uploaded content did not match the file extension in media manager

  I'm unable to upload an image with the media manager.
  When click on upload, i get the error message :
  "The uploaded content did not match the .png file extension."
  
  the image is a PNG screen shot made on my Mac. I've also tried with a jpg file, with the same result.
  Uploading a simple text file works fine.
  
  It was working last time i tried with version 2006-11-06.
  Included : the PNG file i try to upload.

  I am getting this problem as well , seems to be same as
  FS#1232 - File upload gives wrong error with open_basedir

  I get the the error message "The uploaded content did not match the .png file extension." as described in this bug. I fixed it as described in forum post: http://forum.dokuwiki.org/thread/1297
  
  I'm running dokuwiki-2008-05-05 on Linux 2.6.22 i686, Apache 2.0, PHP Version 4.3.10. The same version on localhost works fine and lets me upload the same .png image the server rejects.

  This problem is probably caused by a open_basedir restriction and a upload_tmp_dir dir outside of this restriction.
