FS#119 debian woody: utf-8(?) problem

  Hi, I am Gábor Ziegler, author of the Hungarian translation :-)
  
  I have tried to install the latest version on a Debian woody system. The system MUST remain plain vanilla woody, so changing PHP (beyond Debian security upgrades) is out of question. You can visit the problematic Wiki here:

  The DokuWiki works fine during browsing, editing, previewing, but when I try to SAVE the new version of a page, then I got the errors below. It seems that the page itself get saved, though...
  
  Any help is appreciated.

  This seems to be a similar problem like FS#99. It does not occur in my PHP version... I have too dig into the PHP sourcecode again to see how to avoid this. As a quick fix you can disable the wordblock option.

  Hmm the maximum of open parenthesises is set in
  http://chora.php.net/co.php/php-src/ext/pcre/pcrelib/internal.h?r=1.9#243 to 99 - this setting isn't in newer PHP versions anymore. Currently every line contains on parenthesis which means I would need to lower the chunksize in checkwordblock() from 600 to about 40 :-(
  
  This would mean about over 80 regexps have to be run against the source with the current blacklist instead of just 5 as it is now. Maybe I will check for the PHP version and lower the chunksize accordingly.
  
  Any suggestions are welcome.

  Well, woody is an importan distro, but definitely old.
  
  Anyway, I am too dumb to PHP, I just suggest to do some branching in the code. if it possible and not too slow.

  This is a jan-16 version. NOTE: it does not exhibit the bug!
  
  Baybe you have to make some diff between jan.16 and febr.6 version?
  Ajd then pinpoint the problem?

  Okay I added a version check which tries to work around the problem.
  
  The old version had a much shorter wordblockfile (and fewer parenthesises I think). The new version comes with an actively maintained and uptodate blockfile.
