FS#1168 Authentication behaviour when ldap service is configured but not available
ACL & Authentication
2007-06-23thalma
Our dokuwiki installation uses the ldap backend and acls for user authentication. When ldap service is accessible, authentication and acls work perfect.
I noticed, that when the LDAP service is not available and wiki is not able to connect to ldap service, it warns "LDAP: couldn't connect to LDAP server".
But it also gives anybody full access to every space and entry without any login. I would like to see dokuwiki not giving access to any documents when authentication is not available.
Here is my configuration (excerpt, related to auth & ldap):
$conf['useacl'] = 1;
$conf['authtype'] = 'ldap';
$conf['superuser'] = '@wikiadm';
$conf['auth']['ldap']['server'] = "127.0.0.1";
$conf['auth']['ldap']['port'] = '10389';
$conf['auth']['ldap']['version'] = '3';
