FS#1165 Memory leak when putting ":namespace:" in start page
other

Hi,
I tried to put ":namespace:" as the start page of my wiki using the web admin page.
When I typed the URL of my wiki in IE, the server was not responding.
I opened Windows Task Manager and saw httpd.exe using all the CPU and having memory size growing and growing.
I'm using Apache 2.2.4 with PHP 5.2.3 on a Windows XP box (for wiki testing).

I just did a clean install of rc2007-05-24 and set $conf['start'] = 'namespace:' or $conf['start'] = ':namespace:'. Both settings work (DokuWiki says the page cannot be found, as it does not exist) but no error is shown. The only problem I see is that if I click on create the page, it fails with a looping redirect:

The start page is a page, not a namespace so I'm not surprised it does not work by setting a wrong value to the parameter.

Ooops, sorry, bad reload of the page with a POST :-)
Nevertheless, the fix you point Andi, doesn't help in the case reported here (namespace instead of page in conf['start']).
