FS#115 Mistake in syntax page
other
2005-02-04
The example
"By using four dashes, you can make a horizontal line" is
incorrect because in the source file the four dashes begin with NO leading space. Thus it does not work. According to the PHP source code and my own tests if a leading space is given then one gets the expected horizontal line. The syntax should also mention that 'any' number of dashes more than 4, with a leading AND trailing space, will produce a horizontal line. This behaviour actually makes sense once I under stood what was happening, it is just the help text (and example) thats wrong. Knowing that any number of dashes works is especially useful for readability in a page's text source. The help implies this is not so.

As said in FS#116 no additional spaces are needed, but I changed the description in the syntax page to "four or more dashes"
