FS#1127 distinction between apostrophes and single quotes
Localization
2007-05-03ach
Apostrophes are interpreted as "singlequoteclosing" when $conf['typography'] is turned on.
But as $lang['singlequoteclosing'] is a different character in several languages, the results are sometimes undesirable:
* In e.g. English it is okay with ’ (“He thought ‘It’s a man’s world’…”).
* In e.g. German it is nearly okay with ‘ („He thought ‚It‘s a man‘s world‘…“).
* But in Greek it is far from being okay with ‚ (“He thought ‘It‚s a man‚s world‚...„).
Can someone work a bit of your regular expression magic? Is it even doable (to distinguish between apostrophes and quotes)?

I just tweaked the whole quotes thing a little bit. Now apostrophes shouldn't be mixed with singlequotes anymore. I also fixed the behavior with quotes next to special chars like when having a quote in brackets.
A few test cases where added and everything seems to work. But some more manual testing would be fine. Language files need updates for the apostrophe.
