If DokuWiki is installed without any built-in authentication, then the page rendering template aborts when it gets to the "Update Profile" button, as the code there refers to an $auth object that does not exist. Patch attached.
Well you are right. But I don't get any errors with the default template. Which template do you use?

I use default. Perhaps you have PHP error reporting off? You should get almost all the page rendered correctly, so it looks correct at a glance if you don't have error reporting on. At the bottom, you'll be missing the "Index" and "Back to Top" buttons on the right side, and the all the little icon links (RSS, W3C, PHP, etc.) at the very bottom.
