FS#2060 Position of security warning in installer
CSS, XHTML, JS, Browsers
2010-10-13dominik
The DokuWiki installer shows a warning when the data directory isn't properly protected.
I thing the current position isn't good. the bottom right corner is the least important. On small screens it may not visible without scrolling.
A better position would be direct under the "DokuWiki Installer" Headline. There it looks more critical.

The security also appears on the admin page at top of the page.
If the admin doesn't cognize it on installation page he will see it there. I guess, the first thing an admin does after setting up a new installation is browsing the admin page.

only if he has enabled acl. (i think most users have enabled this).
but i thing this warning should be in a better position in the installer - not on the right bottom (the most unimportant section -> on small screens you have to scroll in both directions)

Design feedback requested: should the warning be positioned at a more prominent position?
- Often people see already messages about too strict folder permissions for the webserver.
- so adding this warning, sofar i know related to .htaccess, can be confusing for novice users when the differences aren't clear.
